I signed up with Google and the extension won't accept my password

Accepted Answer

Use “Continue with Google” in the extension rather than the email and password fields. Accounts created with Google don't have a password at all, so any password will be refused. If you'd rather use a password, choose “Forgot password” on the extension's sign-in screen and set one — after that both routes work.

Question 2

The panel says it can't reach the tab, or asks me to reload

Accepted Answer

That LinkedIn tab was open before Riffla was installed or updated. Browsers only inject an extension into pages loaded after it, so the tab has no Riffla in it yet. Reload the tab and the panel will connect. This can only happen once per tab.

Question 3

The panel opens but the profile fields are blank

Accepted Answer

Scroll the profile down so LinkedIn finishes loading the experience and education sections — they render lazily, and Riffla fills in automatically as they appear. If fields are still empty, LinkedIn has probably changed its page layout; that's fixed on our side without an extension update, so email us the profile URL and it's usually resolved within a day.

Question 4

Riffla doesn't appear on LinkedIn at all

Check that Riffla is enabled at chrome://extensions. Riffla only runs on linkedin.com — it requests no access to any other site — so nothing will appear anywhere else, which is by design. On a LinkedIn page, open it with the toolbar icon, the tab pinned to the right edge, or Alt+Shift+S.

Question 5

Alt+Shift+S does nothing

Accepted Answer

Another extension has claimed that shortcut. Go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts, find Riffla and set one that's free. The toolbar icon and the launcher tab keep working regardless.

Question 6

An enrichment used a credit but returned nothing

Accepted Answer

It shouldn't — credits are only deducted when a verified result comes back. If your balance moved without a result, send us the lead's LinkedIn URL and roughly when it happened and we'll refund it.

Question 7

Why is a phone number more expensive than an email?

Accepted Answer

Verified mobile numbers come from a different, more costly data source than work emails, so they're priced separately and are always a distinct, confirmed action — you'll never spend a phone credit by clicking “find email”.

My CRM sync failed

Accepted Answer

Most often the CRM connection has expired and needs reauthorising: open Settings in the extension, disconnect the integration and reconnect it. If it still fails, tell us which CRM and what the error said — include the lead so we can trace the exact request.

Question 9

Is the AI-generated message sent automatically?

Accepted Answer

No. Riffla drafts a message into an editable box for you to read and change. It cannot send LinkedIn messages or connection requests, and performs no automated actions on LinkedIn. Sending is always something you do yourself. Drafts are AI-generated and can be inaccurate, so review before sending.

How do I delete my data?

Uninstalling the extension stops all collection immediately. To delete the data already in your Riffla account, send a request through the form below choosing “Data or privacy request”, or email us. We'll confirm it's you and action it within 30 days.
